A Beginner's Guide to Drawing and Painting Trees

In this class you will learn how to start seeing the internal structure of trees, common shapes of trees, shading techniques, and more.

I’ll show you how to start with simple shapes and build up your trees from there so that in the future you will have the tools you need to design any type of tree.

When it comes to painting trees, there are so many styles and techniques out there. I’ll show you my favorite ways to paint trees using digital paint, watercolor, and gouache.

This is a comprehensive class that covers so many aspects of tree art, and is catered towards beginners. Intermediate artists, or those who aren’t familiar with trees will also learn a lot.

Please note: This class is for beginners, so it does not cover more advanced topics such as forest scenes (overlapping trees). That will be a future advanced tutorial.
